Observation details
Single bird originally found after it flushed from pond at top of entrance hill. Expected it to be a Wilson's Snipe. Bird circled over the pond repeatedly, giving high pitched single "keek" call note (compared to lower, multi-note call given by Short-billed). Bird finally landed on far side of pond (NW) where distant photos could be taken. ID mainly based off of definitive call note though at time you could see the rotund foraging posture (depth of water I think made this less pronounced than normal for most of the time). Bill appeared very long and straight, loral angle acute, some baring on sides visible. Bird dull overall.
