Observation details
Continuing. First reported two days ago by Bill Carpenter at the Boardwalk Lagoon. Relatively large grebe, long, pointed, mostly yellow bill, dusky gray/brown upper parts, whitish below. Seen in channel immediately west of the Flight Deck where it was reported yesterday and again earlier today. Spent most of its time swimming back and forth and allowing rather close photography. Thanks to Jack Parlapiano for pointing out the bird as soon as we drove up. Photos.
