Observation details
continuing at big the bridge midway on the east side, very skulky. Saw it immediately upon arrival for a fraction of a second and for the next fifteen minutes saw vegetation moving in an eight foot area right by the foot bridge but not a glimpse of the bird. Eventually it flew to the other side of the little channel and started showing itself in the reeds. During the entire time we were there (25 minutes-ish), it probably didn't get more than 12 feet from the foot bridge. Medium size sparrow with clean underparts, rufous on wing, gray nape. Nice find Tom, taking the time to pick this out where it's easy to assume Song Sparrow. Photos
