Observation details
Continuing, found yesterday by Brad Nelson. Large diving ducks with thick, long bills and black cap, light cheeks. Lore spots more of a vertical orientation than WWSC, when diving lacks the white wing patch. On the southern most part of the lake on Lake Ripley Drive. Very aggressive toward the American Coots they were loosely associated with, including nipping them while surfacing and chasing them away where they were loafing.
