Observation details
An insanely-plumaged juvenile, unlike anything I've seen in the United States. A light type, but with incredibly heavily-marked plumage including heavy markings in the underwing coverts and thick, black markings throughout the undersides including a ridiculously thick bellyband. Head color and upperparts were a very dark black-brown. Is this a heavily-marked umbrinus? Could this be a vagrant B. j. jamaicensis from the Caribbean? Photos.
