Observation details
Rapidly flying through woods along tree-lined lane near main gate entrance. Noticeably small-sized hawk, brownish back with light grayish/white & rusty-streaked body, black striped tail. Fast, constant snapping wing-beats in woods & did not glide until reaching open field. Poor quality pic but small size & behavior indicated Sharp-shinned.
