Observation details
Walked from the large sign on Ocean Dr down Fish Dock Rd primarily looking for this species. Did not find any until we reached the bay and turned north to walk along where they are filling in the wetland (sadly ironic, since this is an endangered species). Walked along the fill road of crushed shells and found several feeding in grass seeds at the end of the fill road past the docks, near a pile of gravel. (38.9611680, -74.8649356) They were doing a lot of chasing each other, sometimes down in the mud near the water, but mostly perched prominently up in the grasses, feeding on seeds and easy to spot. All with white throats and heavy streaking (compared to NESP)
