Observation details

08:54 - Juvenile bird perched for several minutes before flying off. Photos attached. Very dark brown all over with large pale gray and yellow bill. Legs and feet bright yellow. Once the bird flew off it was possible to see the fine black banding in the translucent primaries and secondaries. Bird held its tail closed in flight before it left my view but the second picture shows the broad band of gray in the tail.
