NOTES: BREEDING STATUS: territorial NOTES ON DATA FORM: I recorded this bird once before this spring. It uses two different drumming logs. I set up with mike approx. 1.5m from bird and ran "drop cord" to recorder. This recording should have been made at a higher level. First several sequences I started recording as bird started drumming. Las portion of the tape recorder was left running and interval between drumming is actual. BNA: "Drumming Display" sound heard throughout the recording. CZ 29/01/2004. Other Behaviors: Advertise, Court. Habitat: Forest, Coniferous Forest.
