Observation details
Very yellow small flycatcher with a diminuitive beak. I have had several Acadian flycatchers on my property in the last month and this bird acts much different than them. Its the only flycatcher that I have ever seen take a vireo style bath by flinging itself at the water. I have been wrong more times than right so I asked on the flycatcher page. I thought it could be a YBFL but I wasnt sure. My friend Robert Gundy said the spacing on the wing bars wasnt right for YBFL but John Groskopf said it can be variable and Alex Lamoreaux said it looks good for YBFL.
