NOTES: (Breeding Status: territorial; Sound Source: wings?, tail?; General Climate: wet; Cover Density: open; Temperature: 2-4¡ C; Filtering: yes, III) This sequence is a snipe in winnowing flight from just after takeoff until landing again on the marsh. **. [Primarily "Winnowing," but with a few "Chip" Calls (sensu BNA) in the latter part of the recording (some from the closer bird, others from a bird in the background). At least two birds can be heard here. Quality unchanged (2-3, 2) - CAM - 14 December 2004]. Other Behaviors: Advertise, Perform Visual Display. Habitat: Wetland, Pond.
