Observation details
I initially incorrectly ID'd this as a semipalm sandpiper and the photos were later properly identified by somebody else and then I was updated in February 2017. The fieldmarks are the back feathers with the scalloped edges, the pale coloration and dark legs all point to this being a baird's rather than semipalm. I had initially written down 2 of this species, but upon reviewing my photos i can only find a single individual so I am only going to list a quantity of one.
