Observation details
A rare yet sad sighting. We spotted this individual foraging on the sidewalk and in the grates around the base of trees around a building during our Project Safe Flight monitoring. A fairly chunky warbler. In the dim light, I was struck by the bold and complete eye-ring and the plain olive-green and yellow coloration overall. I ruled out COYE and MOWA on a few things. For one, it did not have a yellow throat. Also, its undertail coverts were very long. It was sometimes walking and sometimes hopping, but seemed to have a slightly injured leg. However, it seemed otherwise fairly unhurt. Eventually flew off. Photos and video.
