Observation details
Apart from the fact that there was a very strong wind blowing the branches about, this poor bird was relentlessly attacked (often quite viciously) by Magpies, Currawongs and A. Ravens. Even the Red Wattlebirds and White-plumed Honeyeaters got out of the way of this fierce attach. The Owl flew to two different trees, but was still under attack, and then flew to the other side of the pond. I believe the Ravens stayed on it for a while, but then it went quiet, so either it flew on again, or they gave up. The magpies flew back to the nearby trees where they have nests.
