Observation details
Continuing juvenile. Took several surveys with my scope to clearly find. A small juvenile gull, half the size of the nearby RB gulls. It had a small and thin solid black bill with no yellow tip. Dark/brown above on its head, neck and back with a white chest. Somewhat scaly pattern to its darker back. It was mostly sitting and preening extensively and was at the far northwest tip of the small island at Prairie Dog Point, where it has been seen for the last several days. I never saw it in flight, but at one point it fluffed and shook its wings and tail, I was able to get a photograph somewhat showing its white wings with extensive black along the tips and edges.
