Observation details
Absolutely shocked to see this gull. Immature bird, mantle largely gray-brown up to the neck where it fadded more gray up over the head. Black bill, forked tail with black tip. Small gull. Stiking gray/black/white triangle pattern iconic of the SAGU. Flew around for some time, often lighting on the water, for a short time harrased by a female SSHA. Watched the gull for two or three minutes as it worked it's way upriver from our camp. Was not able to snap a photo through optics, but shot a photo as it flew close by. About 20 min later it flew directly over camp again and I shot the attached video as it flew away.
