Observation details

In feeding frenzy mid-channel with thousands of Black-vented Shearwaters and quite a few other Boobies. Two separate Red-footed Boobies made an appearance. They were both light brown/blonde bodied birds, with darker brown wings. There was no white in the underwings. One of the birds (probably the younger of the two) had blue around the eye, a mostly horn-colored bill, and a line/band across the breast. The other bird had a more adult-like mostly pink bill with a dark tip. The birds were present at the same time, and we had sightings of the younger bird on and off for the next hour (when we also saw its dull pink legs). The birds were flying around and diving for fish.
