Observation details
Seen late morning by creek outlet. Medium sized sandpiper with buffy breast-band and long wings that extend past the tail when folded. Seen with sanderling showing smaller size but close enough to differentiate from Least or Semi-palmated. Long wings seen in flight. Scaley looking feather pattern created by white edges on outsides of feather. Pics.
