Observation details
Continuing. With the stilt sandpiper. A little larger than the stilt sandpiper. overall more brownish tones. Fairly dark cap w/ a contrasting eyeline. Reddish- brown "tiger" like striped tertials. Bills straight and heavier and a little longer than stilt bill, not as long as I would expect a long billed to be compared to the stilt sandpiper. These are the only dowitchers here now. Have to be the same ones as seen earlier by other birders and reported as short-billed. Very unlikely two Long billeds flew in and replaced the short billeds alongside the stilt sandpiper. Phone cam photos taken but not that great.
