Observation details
Update: moved this to observation to Purple Martin as per Rex. Spotted these individuals all flying together, appeared to be catching insects. About half appeared to be something other than a barn swallow. I’m not positive on this identification, but they are drab above, brown head with white bellies. Tail does have a notch, and is more square as apposed to un-notched and rounded as in the bank swallow. I couldn’t make out any orange or blue and the tail lacked the long trailing tips of a barn swallow. Will include pictures.
