Observation details

Two birds were seen together, feeding in the mudflat in an excited manner. One with rich chestnut color on its face, throat & upper breast with no streaks. Some brown spotting on lower breast below the chestnut. Small whitish area on chin/ close to lower base of bill. Brown-streaked crown. Dark lores. Supercilium pale behind eye. Dark-centered scapulars with broad chestnut fringes. Wing coverts dark brown. The other has white & grey-brown head, clear white chin, fading chestnut mixed with white on throat & upper breast. Brown spotting on lower breast. Mantle & scapulars mainly grey-brown with white fringes, in some chestnut color is still left. Wing coverts dark brown.
