Observation details
2 large birds soaring high above Kennedy Park. Merlin Photo ID suggested the photo (attached) was a sandhill crane. Wings not beating frequently. Neck and legs extended. Light colored underbody. Long beak. Outmost part of wings spread out. Some grey/dark to be seen in edges of wings and tail. Felt I could see a reddish color on top but hard to see into the blue sky. Happy to be corrected!!
