Observation details
1 male. After going to a feeder location that no longer had feeders out (but building lodging). We drove back up road to a known site for this bird. Required climbing up 20 feet and out along a knife-edge ridge beside road. I was last in line and Alex thought he saw fem. below but no one else picked out. After awhile I went back up and looked down on other side of promontory. As soon as I looked down I saw a black hummer zip away and thought that could be it. I waited until it came back and got a pretty good look and was sure so went and yelled at other people. They thought I was taking about another bird and only Fernley came. I pulled my camera out and it came back and I got a couple of nice pictures before it flew off again. Fernley then yelled at people again and they all came up. The hummer returned again but not quite in open though all saw it. Only bird I found for people on trip.
