Background species and behavior notes: Oreothlypis peregrina, Vireo olivaceus, Zonotrichia albicollis, Empidonax alnorum, Catharus ustulatus, Colaptes auratus, Branta canadensis, Bonasa umbellus, Cyanocitta cristata, Gavia immer. Brushy area near wet low spot with scattered aspen. Fairly recent clearcut area on road cut edge. Bird was skulking and foraging low in vegetation. Specific Location: Latitude 55.23654971, Longitude -114.05873569, Elevation 639 m. Road cut west of Road 2A (or Range Road 11/12A) about 8 km north of Smith, Alberta, Canada.ID'd by Sound ; ID confidence 80%.
