NOTES ON DATA FORM: Several cuts of same bird. Heard this bird calling previous night but could not get to it. Returned this morning and played taped calls. These recordings are of response. ML Notes: The call heard is likely to be the advertising call, described in the BNA as a monotonous series of whistled notes on a constant pitch. At some point, the notes are repeated at a much faster rate. This often occurs in response to playback. CZ 07/01/2004. Other Behaviors: Court.
