Observation details
I followed up on a report yesterday made by Cathy Blumig of a pair of glossy ibises feeding in the detention pond by the Milltown Home Depot. Earlier this afternoon they were not there, but one appeared after 6:30 pm. I took cell phone photos, then returned around 7:15 pm to take better photos with my good camera which is when i ran into another birder, Max, who also took photos. Will add best photos. Interestingly, this ibis has a thin white line behind/over its eyes, a ring of tiny white lines around the crown (back of its head), and a couple faint white lines on the front of its neck. Probably a juvenile.
