NOTES ON DATA FORM: Female Great Gray Owl with fledged young near recordist. 2 calls recorded "Whoop" call is female begging call - Male to feed her (male was not observed). 2nd call - series of hoos is call female gives when (in the words of the lady who directed me to these owls) is "pissed off" - ie me too close to her young.
