Observation details
I had just pulled into driveway and heard unfamiliar bird calling from trees across the street (I never saw it). I recorded it on Merlin, which identified it as Baltimore Oriole. This bird called for just about a half minute, then flew west, calling until I could no longer hear it. I compared my Merlin recording/sonogram with xeno canto recordings/sonograms of Baltimore orioles and found one in xeno canto (XC313532) that sounded and looked like the recording I got. It appeared to be a Baltimore Oriole. Audio recording reviewed by Russ Namitz, Tim Shelmerdine and Rich Hoyer and all agreed it sounded like a BAOR.
