Observation details
Continuing immature. Very good looks. Seen first at the lake and then we walked around to get better looks as it perched on a snag a little more on the NE side of the lake. Eating a big catfish. Watched it fly back to the west where MD and PB saw it and then it came back and perched on the shady side of a tree in the lake. Very curved bill, bold dark and cream face, dark above with very fresh edged mantle/scapular feathers. Very white rump. Noted yellow legs with very long spidery toes.
