Observation details
As four of us were discussing the pros snd cons of leaving a camera on the hood of the car while socializing, DGo made the point that it would be handy if something interesting flew by. He pointed to the sky to the west, whence a squirmy little spindle emerged, flapping slender, pointed wings in rapid bursts! In amazement, we noted its large head (as wide as the body), bold wing stripes, and long, pointed tail. The camera was, in fact deployed, so the present ID can presumably be verified vs., for instance, Forest Wagtail.
