NOTES: (Bkground Sounds: LL Short playback on cassette heard. No. of Animals/Sex: Adult(s), male(s), female(s). Breeding Status: Territorial.) Honeyguide is not vocal just chasing. Two barbet spp. interacting (one honeyguide interacting I. minor) aggressive calls of L. torquatus heard in background. The annotations explain! there was conflict over a nest site (hole). Chatter call of both and the skizz calls. In each case there was a pair and there was evidence of breeding (commencing). "It waves back and forth" = waving body and head esp. from side to side!.
