Media notes
Habitat: Coniferous Forest.
ML: Subject changed from Dark-eyed Junco (Oregon) - Junco hyemalis [oreganus Group] to Dark-eyed Junco - Junco hyemalis by David Weber on 5/15/2025 based on report with comments: "This video of "Oregon" Dark-eyed Junco shows a bird that appears to be more of a mix of ORJU plus some SCJU/Cassiar genes. Note the ligh grayish (not buffy) sides, and the ragged bottom to the hood. Given the location and date, this is normal. Yukon/ boundary range types can linger into April on the Southeast Alaskan coast, even as the local more Oregon types are setting up shop and breeding."
