Observation details
Photographed. Continuing in the same area where first reported one week ago by Cody Lane (location at which this checklist is mapped). It took about 30 minutes before it started singing, but after that it sang consistently from the thick shrubs above the south side of the creek. A tiny, rich reddish brown wren with a short stubby tail held cocked up. Singing a beautiful, complex series of rapid whistles and trills on many different pitches; each song lasted about 5 seconds. Kudos and thanks to Cody for finding and documenting this bird!
