Observation details
YAY, a wonderful surprise! Stopped to look at a Raven sitting out a ways on a snag, noticed some blackbirds harassing it and they sounded different than grackles or red-wings. Got some glass on them and made the exciting ID of Brewer's Blackbird! Jumped out and began approaching them with camera. Snapped some distant shots and kept advancing until the raven took off. Got quite close and managed to get some quality shots as well as some audio recordings of their calls! Finally, a Michigan state lifer species!
