Behavior and other notes: Adult male Indigo Bunting. He was singing in the lower branches of a deciduous tree as I approached. He was disturbed from his song perch and landed nearby. He started to give very quiet song elements and was looking at me as he sang. He gave one unstructured song then flew off. I followed him to the new perch where he sang one song before flying off. Recorder HPF on at 80 Hz, -12 dB/octave. Channels: Mono. Distance to source: 11 meters. Recording Time: 0615 (UTC -5). Temperature 9.1°C. Habitat: Open fields boarded by woods.
