Observation details
I had one fairly limited view of one of these birds, and it seemed to have a bit of faintly yellowish wash on the flanks. I'm not an expert, but it looks like the pitch of the recorded vocalizations is a little high for Plumbeous. I shared the original files with Ed Pandolfino, who commented: "average midpoint frequency (which is the only useful measurement) is over 3700Hz, well above the highest for Plumbeous. The song also includes some doubled notes, which we found almost exclusively in Cassin's". See Pandolfino and Ray 2020, Western Birds 51: 293-306.
