Behavior and other notes: Adult male Chipping Sparrow singing at dawn from the stone wall at the parking lot and from the single Hackberry tree nearby. The effect of the vegetation on the clarity of the spectrogram can be easily seen in this recording. The first cut was at 12 meters, the second cut at 6 meters. Spectrographic examination suggests that these recordings are from the same individual. Recorder HPF on at 80 Hz, -12 dB/octave. Channels: Mono. Vocalization type: Song.
