Observation details
I spotted one subadult glaucous gull loafing on the water with other large gulls. Identified by bleached out, all white plumage and drab pink bill with a black tip. It's likely a second winter/third summer bird based on the pale eye and very worn primaries. Perhaps it's a female because it appeared to be smaller than adjacent herring gulls. Cameron Cox joined me after the GLGU flew to a nearby wharf. Photos included.
