Observation details
looked more like mallard than wigeon had a blue bill and unlike a pintail it had a farther extension of ruddy color like the wigeon. Also it was with a group of wigeons and mallards.No pintails where seen in area. Also if you look it has patches of gray on the face like a wigeon and not the brown of a pintail. Its pintailed coloration is probably the result of the mallard.
