Observation details
Adult perched near a Mourning Dove in the tallest dead (burned) cottonwood along Ave C about 100 m west of Parking 1; see photos. Presumably the same bird found by the Scheels in early June. This one seemed to have a damaged bill tip (a small amount seemed to be missing at the tip), so I'll have to compare to Scheels' photos.
