Observation details
Heard and/or seen at mile 85.5, 81, 80, 79.5, 79, and 77. Crisp “Che-beck” differentiates it from blurry song of Hammond’s Flycatcher. Bright yellow flycatcher (yellow belly, yellow/olive back). Photos and audio taken for documentation purposes. The one at mp 79 was super cooperative, perching, singing, and flying from Birch tree to Alder shrubs right next to the road. Best looks ever. Known breeding location. Lifer for Lynn!
