Observation details
Observed on and off throughout our visit. They were quite agitated while we were walking the island but calmed down while we worked on LAGU social attraction devices in the middle of the island. The nesting habitat here leaves something to be desired but there a few little patches of sand and small rocks. We did as much of a nest search as possible without overly disturbing the cormorant colony but didn't turn anything up. It's late enough that eggs could have hatched, and it would be interesting to return in a few weeks when any hypothetical chicks are bigger and more visible.
