Observation details
Photos, but none with tail spread. Adult male Selasphorus, solid green from crown through rump. Primaries appear to be shorter relative to tail length than RUHU, but not sure how reliable a feature this is. Regardless, local hummingbird experts (seasoned banders conducting long-term studies) opine that 100% of solid green-backed male Rufous/Allen's in southeastern Arizona are Allen's (or close enough to 100% as to defy logic to refrain from calling them Allen's).
