Observation details
Ad adult Black-bellied Whistling-Duck was found at Shoveler's Sink this afternoon by Jim Schwarz, and was still present from about 5:50-7:00pm. The bill was very orangy, the face pale, with a light, whitish eyering around a black eye. The crown and center of the nape had a black line. The body was a warm cinnamony-reddish brown, with a dark black belly and a white/gray wing bar. The bird had pink legs, with each hallux intact.
