Observation details
Came looking for the Garganey (dipped) and found this gorgeous Wilson’s Phalarope (likely female) in breeding plumage hanging out with Killdeer. Medium sized, Long legged sandpiper with long slender needle like bill, Reddish- Brown streaks on back and shoulders. Grey crown, white face, black eye-stripe which continues down neck. Photos.
