American Crow and Hosue Finch faintly audible as well. Distant buzz sound was a passing motorcycle.
Observation details
3rd consecutive spring a REVI has been here. Detected by its lilting 2-3 syllable song with long pauses between - "three-eight" and "in-the-tree" phraseology with a burry quality. Intermittently made complex songs of multiple (4-8) short syllables I did not hear in prior years. Bird observed about 15 feet up in a tree. Dull white below. Gray back, tail, and wings with light olive green wash. Crown blue-gray separated by whitish supercilium by thin black line. Dusky ocular line subtended the supercilium from the gape to the auricular. Faint yellow wash on cheek extended on to sides of neck and very edges of breast. Color of the irides were dusky but in good light appeared weakly reddish.
