Media notes

Tinian Monarchs were introduced to Guguan in 2015 and 2016 as part of the Mariana Avifauna Conservation (MAC) translocation program. All released birds were banded; individual seen on this survey was unbanded, indicating that this individual was born on Guguan. Whistle at the end of the first monarch call (timestamp 0:03-0:04) may be a Micronesian Starling (Aplonis opaca) and not a monarch.
