Behavior and other notes: Adult male Swainson’s Thrush giving calls of several types and quiet song/song segments from low to mid-level perches in a spruce forest. He appeared to be upset that I had walked up on him as he was silent until I stubbled upon him. He then gave calls for over 30 minutes, moving from perch to perch as if moving around within his territory. Some of these call types I have not heard from this species before.
