Observation details
Tucka tucka calls. Found WISN on a grassy low island in Canada Falls Lake. WISN stayed in same spot. When I came a bit closer it crouched, rather than flew, and was silent. I immediately paddled backwards and the bird resumed its Tucka calls in the same spot.
