Observation details
Two were on NC dike when I first arrived, along with 2 BOGUs. About 40 minutes later, there were six birds on the dike. Around 5:50 pm, they took off and flew toward the NW. One bird was banded: yellow band with code K549 on the right leg; color combo blue/green/aluminum (top to bottom) on the left leg. I reported the sighting to the OSU CATE Research Project.
